Sounds That I Make

Beside babbling loads, I have also been making all sorts of sounds when playing by myself. And my voice can be really loud & high-pitched too. At times, I will also act like I'm crying. When the moment mummy comes near me, I will smile at her and then look away. Ain't I playful?

Haircut before CNY

Daddy & mummy decided to give me a haircut before CNY arrives cos my fringe is getting long and has already passed my eyebrow and about to poke my eyes. Therefore, they decided to cut it shorter and by then CNY arrives, the length of my fringe will be just nice. This time round, mummy is the one who cuts my hair cos I keep fidgeting & making noise once daddy touches my hair and there is no way daddy could cut my hair. So the scissors was passed over to mummy and she starts to wet my hair with abit of water and here I am sitted quietly waiting for my hair to be cut. Fyi, the haircut only takes about 5mins cos I'm so well-behaved. And see how happy I am after my haircut.

Ellenborough Market Cafe @ Swissotel Merchant Court

On 10 Jan, we went for buffet lunch at Swissotel Merchant Court as my xiaoyi & popo have the urge of having buffet. Therefore, mummy only managed to reserve the seats here after searching & calling up lot of hotels and as most of the hotels only served brunch & high-tea on Sundays, therefore all are fully-booked. Overall the food are just moderate and there's also not much variety even though they are serving international buffet and also their service is not good too. Mummy also commented that we will definitely not be going back there again. After taking some pictures, we head down to Takashimaya to do some shopping as mummy & xiaoyi would like to have a look at some of the bags there.

Who Do I Resemble?

Not long after birth, most of the people say that I look alot like daddy but from the look-alike meter shown on my blog, its shows that I look equally like daddy & mummy when I'm at 3mths old. A year has passed, and recently some people start to say I look more like my mummy than my daddy now & some say I still resemble my daddy more. So out of curiousity, mummy decided to use the look-alike meter again for the second time and this is the end result that we have got. It still shows that I look equally like daddy & mummy after a year. Wonder if the look-alike meter is accurate or could it be the eye area looks like daddy & the area of the lips & chin looks like mummy. Anyway, it doesn't really matter if I resemble more like daddy or mummy but it definitely cures mummy's curiousity.

Welcome the Year of Tiger!

Soon a year has passed and now comes another year. And in few weeks time is our Chinese New Year and also the Year of Tiger. And I'm also getting myself ready to welcome the Tiger year by dressing myself like one with the help of mummy. This tiger costume is actually a pass down from my twins cousins as they are too big to fit into this anymore. And it's just the right time for me to wear and it fits me nicely too. Do I look like a cute little tiger? I enjoy wearing this outfit so much that I keep coming up with different types of pose. Daddy & mummy also can't help laughing when they saw me in this costume. And also taking pictures with part of my Winnie the Pooh family. Do I look like Tigger? Hahahaha.....

Watching TV during mealtimes

During my mealtime, mummy will sure to switch on the tv for me to watch. Reason is becos I eat faster and tends to more cooperative, especially on programmes where there are people singing & dancing. Unlike toys, I will get sick of it easily after playing for sometime. Sometimes, I will make comments about the tv programmes while watching and mummy also dun know what am I commenting about. Not only that, I will also join in by humming the song and shaking my body with food in my mouth when I enjoy that particular programme. When there are times I'm too engrossed with the show, I will raise one of my leg up and put it on my high-chair table top. And when mummy ask me to put down my leg, I will then show her my unhappy face & 'tu tu' lips.

More Playgrounds

This time, I went to another playground which is more suitable for me cos the slide is lower & shorter. This playground is also smaller and more suitable for babies & young toddlers.
Fyi, there are total 3 playgrounds. All are just about 3mins walk from my house to the playgrounds.
See how much fun I have by walking here & there exploring. I get to sit on the bicycle, climb up & down the slides & also get to slide down from the tunnel slide.
See, I even posed for mummy to take pictures.
Now, we are heading to another another playground which is so much bigger than the previous one and it's also the one that we usually go.
When we are approaching the caterpillar seats, I get very excited and keep saying, 'Ball! Ball!' Nowadays, whenever I see anything that is round, I will keep saying 'Ball!'
And when mummy corrected me by saying that is not a ball, it's a caterpillar! I just show no interest & wanna walked away quickly.
Overall, I still fancy the smaller playground as the steps here are too high up for me to climb.
Fyi, mummy is afraid to cross the shaky bridge while holding on to me with one hand cos she's afraid that she will lose her balance and thus calling out to Daddy for help.
While strolling our way home, we get to see some pet animals. Fyi, the cat looks fierce to me. When we tried to go near it and have a closer look, it stared fiercely at us and even mummy is scared too. Somehow, the rabbit is still tamer & cuter as compared to the fierce cat. And mummy used to keep rabbits as her pet too.

New Year's Day meet-up with Uncle Mark Chan & Family

As it has been months since mummy last catch up with Uncle Mark Chan & family, so it was time to meet up with them on the 1st day of 2010 for lunch & shopping.
We decided to had lunch at Suntec's sizzler as all of us are looking forward to their clam chowder soup there. But to our disappointment, 'NO' clam chowder soup on that day! Oh man! And Aunty Lynette suggested that maybe we can call up 1st to check the next time... (laughs) and well, its really a good idea so as to prevent disappointment again.
And after our lunch, we took a family photo with baby Janelle and do we look like a happy family of 4s? And fyi, I love to sayang Janelle alot and mummy also loves to carry her. Cos mummy say she is so cute, soft and nice to cuddle, like a 'koala bear'.
After that, we went shopping for some babies' clothes, groceries and more. And also, stopping by to take more photos.
Here I am enjoying my kiddy ride while waiting for Aunty Lynette to nurse her lil' precious. And fyi, I refuse to get off the ride even though I have already taken the ride twice. Left with no choice, daddy got to 'bluff' me off the ride.
Overall, we had an enjoyable day with them. Looking forward to more meet-ups and seeing Janelle again and also thanks to Uncle Mark for all these nice pictures! =)

New Year Eve

Since mummy only need to work half day on New Year Eve, therefore we decided to go shopping & dinner with my popo & xiaoyi before my popo leaves for Genting on the same night.
After hours of shopping, we headed to Jack's place for dinner with daddy joining us after his hard day of work. All of us were given a party bag each and it consist of party hat, party poppers, confetti horns, blowouts, mask, and clapper.
See how much fun I have with the party hat after I reached home. I crawl & crawl around the house with the hat on my head. And the hat seems to be a bit too big for me cos the hat keep sliding down my head and cover my face. Too bad I didn't get to join in the countdown cos I was getting tired already. Will wait for next year then.

My 1st X'mas Presents for the Year of 2009

This is my 1st X'mas present for Year 2009 although this is already my 2nd year of X'mas. Cos I still do not to know how to 'ask' for X'mas present last year as I'm only a few months old during then.
Initially, we only intend to shop around at Causeway Point after having our breakfast at McDonalds. And when we are stopping by to look at some of the cute soft toys, I started to get exciting by pointing here & there. I even try to signal to mummy that I want these soft toys by babbling and chattering loudly and at the same time, trying to reach out for the toys. Some of the sales assistants even looked at me & smiled.
So they let me choose between Minnie Mouse, Pooh Bear, Tigger, Eyeore, Piglet & Chipmunks. I finally chose the piglet cos maybe its pink in colour and this is also the colour that I prefer more than the other colours. Can tell that I love this piglet so much from the above pictures and I will wanna hug this piglet to sleep and also play with it. When daddy try to take the piglet from me, I will snatch it back from him.
And this is the expression that I show daddy after snatching my 'piglet' back from him.
And there are more presents for me from Da-gu Po, Da-gu & Er-gu. They got these for me during their Japan trip. Isn't it nice?

JAC 2009 Year End Party held by TMC

Thomson Medical Centre is organising a 2009 Year End Party for Junior Angels Club (JAC) kids on 27th Dec 09 and invitations are strictly open to FBI, SBI and JAC members only. Since the programme itinerary seems interesting, therefore mummy decided to sign up and let me have fun at the party. Here are some photos of me before we head out for the party. Upon reaching there, more photos are taken and this is our complimentary family photoshoot taken by BabyU Studio the moment we reached there. Every family is entitled to one free shot. After taking the photo, we are still in time to watch the magic show which started not long ago. Alot parents & childrens have already gathered and sitted around the stage. The magician did teach some of the jie jies & gor gors magic by asking them up onto the stage. Can tell that all of them are having a great time by their happy cheers and loud claps. After the magic show, it's time for Lucky Draw. There's a total of 5 prizes. Mummy & I hoped that my name will be called, but too bad we are not the lucky 5s. Nevertheless, we are still happy for the 5 lucky winners who got the prizes.
Lucky draw has ended and goodies bag are given out to us. Christmas songs are played and all of us sing together. Although I do not know how to sing all those songs, but I do enjoy myself by humming the songs and clapping my hands.
Before the party end, mummies started to chat with one another. And I'm also busy trying to shake hands with the one of the jie jies which is 4 months older than me (forgotten to ask for their names). And initially both of us are abit shy so we looked at each other other for awhile. After that, I finally have the courage to shake her hands.
When about to go home, I got a smiley star badge as a gift from one of the nice JAC aunty when she learnt that I did not win any prize for the lucky draw and I was given 2 balloons too. In fact, all the JAC aunties there are very friendly and helpful and it's nice talking to them.
Time to go home! See how happy and excited I am with just these 2 balloons! I keep pulling and shaking the balloons right & left like flying kite and also keep saying 'Ball! Ball!' throughout the whole journey. I even show mummy my happy cheeky face.
And fyi, I am holding on to my balloons so tightly cos I worried that it would fly up into the sky. And up to the extent that I wouldn't even wanna let go even though we have already reached home. I even cry and fuss when daddy remove it away from my hands. I only stopped crying when I saw daddy tied the balloons onto my walker.
Overall, I enjoy the party very much. And I will sure to go for the next year's party if there is and I'm sure that I will enjoy myself even more by then.

Paragon X'mas Lightings

After leaving the airport, we head down to Paragon for dinner and do abit of shopping. And at the same time to have a feel of the joyful X'mas season. Actually we do have a X'mas tree that was bought 3 years back by daddy & mummy. And they are thinking to take out the X'mas tree this year so that we can have fun decorating it together. But after some consideration, they decided not to as they are more afraid that I will tear down the tree instead of decorating it.

Fun at Changi Airport

On 22nd Dec, we send my grandparents to the airport and at the same time, take breakfast with them as there's still ample time before they check in. Fyi, this is my first visit to the airport. Therefore, I'm quite excited about it. Cos the moment after breakfast, I just wanna come down from the high chair and start walking around. And if daddy wanna carry me and take picture, I will start to fuss. And as I walk, I keep pointing here and there and babble non-stop. Although daddy & mummy can't make out what I'm saying most of the time, but at least they still know some of the words that I say like 'ball hor hor? ma, hor? huh mo? huh mo? And there's also a small playground not far away from the Mcdonalds to keep some of the kids entertained. I had a fun time playing with the slides and the riding horse.

My Favourite Past-Time

Time flies and I'm already 14 months old. And I'm no longer interested to sit in my walker. Whenever mummy is busy and wants to put me in the walker for a while, I will start to make noise and raise my legs up high in the air. And I only love to crawl and walk around the house, I will also urge mummy to place the playmat on the floor with all my toys for me to play. Not only that, sitting and pushing my ride-on car around the house is also part of my favourite past time. And mummy and daddy get tired real fast cos they keep bending their back so as to support me by holding on to my little fingers when I walk around. And I will even attempt to lift my car up to the water feature platform with one hand and then bring it down, then up and down again, and doing it repeatedly. And you must be thinking ain't I tired at all... And of cos I'm not, cos it's daddy and mummy who's helping me to lift the car! Hahaa.. And after playing for hours, see how tired and sound asleep I am! Finally, mummy can get to rest for a while too before I wake up.

I would like to wish all of you a very super duper Happy New Year! Cheers!
