Prizes from Similac Spot-The-Differences Contest

You must be surprise what makes mummy participate in the above contest even though I do not consume Similac at all. Well, cos mummy is quite keen in winning the brainy baby dvd set for me so therefore she decided to give her luck a try by participating in the above contest last month. A month is about to pass and mummy has totally forgotten about this contest, until she received a call from Abbott Similac.
And this is what mummy has received yesterday from Similac (5 dvds + 1 tin of 400g Similac formula milk) but too bad my 'xiao yi' didn't get it even though mummy did submit an entry for her. And fyi, each dvd cost S$19.90 each and meaning the whole set will cost about S$99.50 and mummy is so glad that she is one of the 800 lucky winners.

Although mummy and I have yet to watch these dvds, but mummy would still like to share the contents briefly with all of you cos she finds the contents of these dvds quite interesting and attracting.

As I grow up day by day, I'm beginning to come up with more and more funny acts. Mummy and daddy are wondering what else will I come up next to entertain them.

Me, The Little Stunt Girl!

Nowadays, mummy had a hard time tucking me to sleep, be it in the afternoon or night time. Cos I will start to get super hyper once I enter my bedroom. And no matter how tired I am by rubbing my eyes, I will still wanna do a few stunts or roll about first before I get to sleep. Now I have mastered this new stunt that I love doing very much and I can do it for more than 10 over times in a roll without stopping to rest. Even though mummy place me nicely on bed and ask me to sleep or take a rest first but I will still ignore her and keep doing. And when daddy or mummy stick their head underneath me and look straight at my face, I will then start to laugh out loudly. Fyi, I find this stunt so fun and now I have already master the art of not using my hands to support my body but use only my head and neck. Isn't me mischevious? And daddy, mummy & popo are so worried that I will sprain or hurt myself when in the mist of doing this. Fyi, popo also say that I behave more like a boy than a girl. =)

Yu-Qi's 1st Birthday

We were invited to Yu-Qi's 1st birthday on the 8 Nov (Sun) held at Parc Oasis Clubhouse. By looking at the deco's, obviously you can tell that it's the Hello Kitty Theme accompanied by a nice Hello Kitty Jelly Cake & a 2-tier cake with cupcakes. Aunty Joyce also rented some toys to keep us entertained and I did get to play with the slides too. And this is Yu-Qi, the birthday girl of the day, enjoying herself at her birthday party by clapping her hands happily.
After singing her the birthday song, I wish Yu-Qi '笑口常开' always!
Can also tell that I'm enjoying myself very much too cos I keep clapping my hands when we sing the birthday song and look at my satisfying face when eating the cupcakes. Also I keep turning my head away when in the mist of picture taking and guess maybe I'm more interested in looking at the birthday banner/Hello Kitty balloon than the camera!
And do I look nice with the Hello Kitty party hat? Gues I really like the hat very much cos I enjoy putting it on and taking it down repeatedly by myself while on the way home.

My Haenim Play Yard - Part 2

Now I will not want anyone to help me when I'm trying to balance myself and stand without support, I will keep pushing everyone's hands away when anybody tries to hold or support me.

And at times, I can even stand on my own for very long and keep clapping my hands. Look at my face! I look so pleased with myself, isn't it?

Other than this, I'm also learning to walk step by step now by holding on to the panels and mummy will sure to upload it here once I have done it successfully.

My Haenim Play Yard

Play yard is where I love to be now cos I enjoy playing inside by myself and I also love to look at the mirror and talk. As mummy has also teach me to say some of the pictures on my playmat, therefore I will also point at the pictures on the playmat and start saying or naming out some of the pictures which sometimes both daddy and mummy could not figure out what I'm saying except for some words like apple (will pronounce as ar-ple), bear, '喂', '饱', yeah, '打', pa, ma and 'yai yai' meaning naughty in Cantonese. And in this video, you can hear me say '喂' or '谁' when I pick up the phone, and

showing mummy how I push myself to sit up which I have already mastered it quite sometime ago, and

finally, learning how to walk by using the side panels of the play yard for support and balancing. But it seems like it shows more of dancing and shaking here... =)

Haircut By Daddy

Just last week, daddy give me another haircut although he just cut my hair 2 months back. And although I dun really like people to touch my hair, but I will still behave well and allow daddy to cut my hair or let mummy clip accessories on my head when they say cut nice nice ok or pretty pretty girl. And actually there are more photos to be posted but too bad daddy's memory card is faulty, therefore unable to retrieve rest of the photos except for these 2 shots. Haiz, just too bad!

My Tooth Chart

This is a tooth chart that mummy has got from Anbesol website using it to update the growth of my teeth and also to keep track of it when they start popping out one by one. As you can see on this chart, so far this is the only tooth I've got although I'm coming to 13 months old. But my pediatrician say its fine, cos it's quite normal for some toddlers to have their 1st tooth as late as 18months old but it should not be later than that. And mummy also feel that my second lower central incisor will pop out anytime as my gums around that area is quite swollen now.
