As my 1st birthday party is getting nearer & nearer, therefore daddy & mummy have to make a trip down to Party Joy at parkway parade to finalise their purchase on my party deco stuffs as well as the delivery of all the helium balloons for that day.
And on my way there, I love to keep myself occupied by playing and I even led mummy in playing peek a poo with me by using my handkerchief to cover my own head & face and then pull the handkerchief away by myself. Just see how much I enjoyed myself from the pictures here.
After confirming my party stuffs, we headed for lunch at Swensens. And while we are waiting for our lunch to come. I started to get very active by turning around and keep smiling at some of the waiter and waitress when they come and talk to me. I will also wave and say bye bye to them and clap my hands too. And I also enjoy making all sorts of funny faces by sticking out my tongue and also make that kind of 'ah ma' face by shutting my lips tightly inwards.
This is a picture of me with all my cousins and fyi, they enjoy playing with me and also sayang me alot. Maybe it's becos I'm the youngest and also the only girl here. Not only that, they will always come and crowd around the doorway the moment I reach grandma's house and they will keep calling my name till I enter the house. Can imagine how noisy it is right!
And you see how my twin cousins kiss me from the above picture, almost can't see my face already. They have been kissing me on my cheeks for few times repeatedly till I feel so irritated and started to make noise then only they stop. They also love to hold my hands and touch my legs and face.
And guess my cousins would really love to have a 'mei mei' cos you can hear them say "Mummy, I want 'mei mei'!" =)
Grandma's house has got this new chair and I love to sit on it very much. I can turn the chair left or right and can even go round and round. But I still prefer mummy to swing me left & right gently.
And I will tend to pose whenever I sit on this chair. I will also at times stop and remain at a certain pose and just look at mummy when she is trying to snap my pictures.
Daddy & mummy went to the hospital to visit Auntie Lynette & baby Janelle upon hearing the good news from Uncle Mark Chan on the 23rd last month.
And while these 2 mummies are sharing their experiences, daddy quickly snap one or two pictures so as not to awake the sleeping baby. And can you see her dimple when she smile, isn't she sweet!
I'm so happy that I have got 1 more new friend now and hoping that my circle of friends will keep growing. And I also hope baby Janelle grows up faster, so that I can get to play with her soon!
As my 1st birthday is coming real soon, therefore Daddy & mummy have been shopping around for my birthday 'suit' over the past 1 month and finally, they managed to find one dress that they both think is nice, comfy & not too over!
Actually other than this, they also found quite a no. of dresses that are nice & pretty too but most of them comes with layers of tulle material. Therefore, daddy & mummy feel that I will not like those dresses and will also feel uncomfortable wearing it cos the material is abit pricky and the design is also abit over.
And mummy is also able to tell if I like the dress or not, cos I will only smile and touch it if I like. And if I don't like, I will not even touch or take a second look at it and worse still, I will still shake my head at times.
After so long, finally mummy managed to capture a video of me clapping my hands cos I will not clap at times when prompt.
And guess I'm in good mood that day so therefore capturing me clapping my hands is quite easy at that moment.
Whenever we are out shopping or having a walk, mummy will sure to let me sit on the kiddy rides if there's any and I also enjoy the rides more now as compared to the past.
And from this video, you can see how much I enjoy by turning the steering wheel and look as though I'm really driving. Daddy & mummy didnt even teach or show me at all, but I just turn the steering wheel on my own immediately after they place me in the seat.
And when somebody tried to walk near me or have the intention of wanting to sit in my ride when I'm sitting, I will signal to 'shoo' them away although nobody ever teach me this. Daddy & mummy are also quite surprise when they see me shooing the 'gor gor' away when he comes near me.
Although I'm still small, but when you see how I shoo this 'gor gor' off and you will know I will not be bullied by others easily. And now I got a new nickname name which is 'chilli padi' cos I'm small & 'hot'! Heeheee....
Mummy has bought me some baby yoplait yogurt from cold storage and it only comes in two flavour which is the banana & vanilla flavour. And when mummy feed me the first mouth, I give her that kind of wanna 'puke' face and she finds me so amusing and was wondering if this yogurt really taste that bad.
And after mummy & daddy taste the yogurt, they both have the same reaction as me too or maybe we don't really fancy yogurt at all. And doubt mummy will ever buy yogurt for me again or maybe if she really will, guess it will not be that soon and she will sure to get other brands instead.
Mummy has received an email from Dumex Mom & Baby Club to participate in the Mamil Match-up Challenge. The rules of the game is to match two identical pictures in order to clear all 30 boxes (as per the last picture shown below) using the shortest time. And there's no limit to how many games you play as long it's within the 1 month contest time-frame from 30th Jul 09 to 30th August 09. Anybody can also participate in this contest and get to win $50 dumex gift hamper each if you are the one of the top 5 winners.
And after 1 whole month of struggling & multiple tries, mummy finally managed to climb up to the Top 5 (as shown below) and she even score 1st in position using only 25.84 secs to finish the game.
Mummy is overjoyed & pleased with her results and she felt happy that her hardwork has actually paid off cos although it's quite an easy memory testing game but it's tough to be one of the Top 5 winners cos you will get kick out by other players on & off if they finish the game faster than you.
And now mummy is waiting happily to collect the hamper next friday and will sure to fully utilize the goodies in there. And hope mummy will remember to take a picture of the hamper with all the goodies in it and post here for remembrance.
As mummy & daddy need to get some groceries on that Saturday, therefore they bring me out early in the morning after I have woke up.
And when mummy tell me that we are going 'gai gai', I'm so happy that I keep jumping up and down with my legs kicking and hands fluttering when mummy come and carry me. And not only that, I also know when daddy and mummy are going out cos I will keep following them around the house in my walker when I saw them changing and I will wanna tag along too. If not, I will normally play by myself or stay in my own room alone at times without my parents' accompany.
And when we reach cold storage, mummy let me sit in the trolley for the first time and I'm so happy and excited about it. I enjoy it so much by touching whatever things that are near me when daddy push me around. I also keep leaning out far trying very hard to reach out for some other things that I could not touch.
Overall, I just love going out even though it's just a short while at times.
